L I F E

As the school year is winding down, it's becoming more and more real that my first year of college is in the books. Where has the time gone?

This year has definitely taught me a lot. It taught me a lot about people and learning who people really are and how where they come from really affects who they become. I've learned to take many steps back to examine situations.

What this year has certainly taught me is that people aren't always what they seem. The first year of college is absolutely about impressing people and making as many friends as possible. As time goes on, however, their true colors come out. I made many friends this year, and lost many, too.

Life is all about learning. Accepting the fact that learning is one thing that one will always be doing, is how one grows. I've learned that life is all about moments, and the people you share those moments are the most important at the time, but those moments are soon gone and so are the people.

I am content with my life right now.  I know that I am going to do many important things in life and I am going to be successful.  I cannot wait to have the last laugh.

Remember: Your horizons are always expanding. Never close your eyes.

Beauty Must Haves

Coconut Milk for my long locks. I have a thick head of hair, and it also doesn't help that it's down to my butt in length. I find that Organix Coconut Milk is the best solution to keeping my hair healthy looking and feeling.

Nail Polish for my bad habit of nail biting. As long as I have nail polish on my finger nails, I won't bite my nails. I found that this is the best trick to help temporarily put an end to my habit. I also love spring color choices!

Love everyBODY

My boyfriend: Anthony

So me and my boyfriend are coming up on our 8 month anniversary. I know, it doesn't seem like THAT much, but, we've been together since we got to college.  Anthony is a football player at my school and was here two weeks before all the NARPs (Non Athletic Regular Person) moved in. He was one of the only people that stuck out to me, just like I for him. The first weekend of college, we knew.  We hung out Saturday and went to bed, but before we did, he asked for my number. Later that night, he asked me if I wanted to go to brunch with him and now 8 months later, i'm the happiest girl in the world!

Here is a montage of me and my best friend:

Memorial Day Weekend

I am PUMPED for Memorial Day Weekend. I cannot wait to be in my quaint little Cape Cod house. The thought of being on the beach with the subtle Cape waves crashing up the sand is pure bliss. This year, my boyfriend is coming with my family to the Cape. I cannot wait to walk downtown Hyannis with him and take him to the little breakfast nooks in Osterville.

The countdown has begun and winding down.

Here are some pictures from last MDW:
